ABOUT US
Biomonomer Technologies Ltd has been established by the chemists at Acryate R & D and Silanes & Silicones Manufacturing to produce in bulk the main reactive monomers used in biomaterials, such as intra-ocular lenses and contact lenses. We have many decades of experience in the manufacturing of high purity monomers and can offer in any quantity or pack size you require. We can now produce up to 200kg lots using our own uniquely designed and commissioned reactors designed specifically for reactive monomer synthesis. We prefer to supply our high purity monomers without inhibitors or very low levels as we believe this allows our customers to use the material straight from the bottle, without any further work necessary.
A lot of the materials we manufacture are not listed as we work under many non disclosure agreements. We welcome any enquiry you may have for high purity reactive monomers for any biomaterials application.

We have developed very robust methods of analysis because over the years we have found small impurities can cause big effects in the polymerisation process. Our batch to batch reproducibility is excellent, we do not let anything out that is not the best quality. There is no variation in colour, smell, etc. We take great care in the production ensuring that there is excellent batch to batch reproducibility. This allows our customers to use our materials with confidence, knowing they are not going to experience variations in polymerisation due to differences from batch to batch.
